The ACS Centre is a dedicated Gas Training Centre which delivers domestic gas training & assessments within the industry, including LPG, Hot Water Safety Systems, Legionella & Water Regulations.
Domestic Core CCN:1 Re-Assessment
Candidates will undertake training to update and refresh their knowledge relating to the safety regulations, procedures and British Standards required when working on gas installations.
To provide operatives with knowledge and skills relating to safety regulations, procedures and British Standards which must be applied when working on gas installations.
To provide operatives with knowledge and skill relating to installation, exchange, disconnection service and repair of domestic gas fires and wall heaters.
To provide operatives with knowledge and skill relating to installation, exchange, disconnection, service and repair of domestic central heating boilers and water heaters.
This course qualifies GAS SAFE registered engineers to perform flue gas analysis on domestic gas appliances. More and more manufacturers require this test during the commissioning and servicing of their appliances.
To provide operatives with the knowledge and understanding of the water supply and fittings regulations to help them achieve the practical compliance required.
The aim of the course is to ensure the candidate has the relevant basic underpinning gas safety knowledge and practical ability to work safely in the gas industry. The Managed Learning Program (MLP) has been recognised by GAS SAFE as meeting their entry requirements to the ACS scheme, which is the pre-requisite competence qualification required for GAS SAFE registration.
